Hi Frank,
Nice to see your photos.
In Australia we have very limited choice for 18 inch tyres.
The Suzuki wheel fits with Suzuki brake calliper and a thin washer. Use the SRX wheel spindle.
The Suzuki sprocket is a bit larger but a 130/80 tyre profile gives similar gearing, 100kph at 4000 rpm.

I removed and carried the front guard.
However, the rear wheel also locked up with mud & stalled the motor frequently.
The rear wheel is a 17 inch Suzuki GS500E so I can fit a mud tyre.

Hi Rob,
back in 2010 I rode my SRX from Bethanga via Falls Creek and Bairnsdale back to Melbourne. No snow and mud, but great riding in November. Had mine imported from Japan in 2007 and took it with me to Germany in 2011. Still running well and probably the only SRX in Germany having done laps on the GP track on Phillip Island.
Hope you'll have more luck with the weather next time.
Cheers,
Axel
